bluestem restaurant offers numerous possibilities - whether you like to entertain a select group of guests, host a large event throughout the entire restaurant or bring the bluestem experience to your home.

For an intimate evening, the bluestem lounge is the perfect setting to start off your private dining. Kansas City, relax and enjoy a cocktail in the lounge, which can accommodate up to 65 guests. It was designed as a spacious gathering area with comfortable sofas, low tabletops and lounge seating throughout.

bluestem’s dining room seats up to 45 guests for an exclusive lunch or dinner. The dining room is ideal for private dining and features sheer drapes aligning the windows, white linen tables and a quiet glow of candlelight. If you’d like to expand the use of the entire restaurant, bluestem can arrange for additional tables to be set up in the lounge to accommodate more guests for a seated dinner within both rooms. As one of the most flexible private restaurants in Kansas City, bluestem can accommodate groups with up to 100 guests.

For intimate dinner parties at home or other locations of your choice, bluestem will bring our talented chefs and service team to you. Please note that due to our small staff, bluestem will need advance arrangements for offsite, private events.
