bluestem restaurant offers numerous possibilities - whether you like to entertain a select group of guests, host a large event throughout the entire restaurant or bring the bluestem experience to your home.

For an intimate evening the bluestem lounge is the perfect setting for your pre-dinner standing reception prior to a seated dinner within the dining room. The lounge, which can accommodate up to 65 guests, was designed as a spacious living room with comfortable sofas, low tabletops and lounge seating throughout.

bluestem’s dining room seats up to 45 guests for an exclusive lunch or dinner. The dining room is ideal for a private gathering and features sheer drapes aligning the windows, white linen tables and a quiet glow of candlelight. If you’d like to expand the use of the entire restaurant, bluestem can arrange for additional tables to be set up in the lounge to accommodate more guests for a seated dinner within both rooms. bluestem can accommodate 80-100 guests when arrangements are made in both the lounge and dining room.

For intimate dinner parties at home or other locations of your choice, bluestem will bring our talented chefs and service team to you. Please note that due to our small staff, bluestem will need advance arrangements for offsite events.

Chef’s Colby and Megan Garelts will work closely with you to tailor an event according to your dining preferences and our seasonal menu selections. bluestem has several menu formats available for private events ranging from our hors d’ oeuvres selections and 3-7 course tasting menus. bluestem has many choices for beverage selections including our complete wine list, beer, and specialty cocktails. Our general manager Jeremy Lamb will provide assistance in securing your event’s beverage accompaniment.
